Star One is a multifunction 4 axis (X-Y-Z + Rotating C Axis) CAD/CAM work centre that allows various operations to be executed on the sole specially used for pattern collection and for hight quality production.
Equipped with patented coaxial double cutter, carving operations can be carried out for anti-slip inserts, boring, edge carving, heel seat roughing on leather or synthetic material soles, template cutting and centring masking in plastic material and wood pushers for pre-moulding. Star One is also equipped with a Rotating C Axis which follows the profile in order to be able to mount multifunction, interchangeable heads for simultaneous Grooving/Decoration, Insole/Grooving, or single operations such as decorations and hot mark point, welt rolling, film cutting. Work surface with height prevalence, energy saving vacuum sole clamping system. Star One is managed independently by means of a console with a touch screen monitor and it also has self-diagnostics with the possibility of remote support.
The K-CAD software via computer makes it possible to create 2D drawings and to capture drawings or models of the sole or other details using as scanner and it is quick and easy-to-use. In the case of soles, the development of European, English and American style series can be machined automatically and the heels and tangs can also be grouped together. Exportation and importation of data in DXF and other formats can be carried out on request.
The machine is equipped with 60 mm dust suction intake on board the cutter spindles which must be connected to an external vacuum or the centralized vacuum system.
